what is did/osdd?

DID (dissociative identity disorder) is a disorder where one body shares two or more distinct "personalities", or alters. this is usually a reaction to severe trauma, most in young childhood. though DID cannot be cured, some therapy techniques like fusion, headspace, etc. can make life easier for systems.
types
DID - dissociative identity disorder. to be diagnosed with DID, you must meet all criteria. including distinction between alters and blackout memory loss.
OSDD - other specified dissociative identity disorder. OSDD is basically DID, however, those diagnosed with OSDD usually don't fit full criteria for DID.
OSDD-1A - this is like DID, but with less to no distinction with alters.
OSDD-1B - this is like DID, but without total blackout amnesia. most systems with OSDD-1B have greyout or emotional amnesia.
DDNOS - dissociative disorder not otherwise specified. this is usually a diagnosis given to a system with unclear symptoms.
polyfragmented - this is a system with 50-100+ alters. most polyfragmented systems split easily due to both tramua and disorganized attachment. polyfragmented systems might also be a cause of ritual abuse, mind control, or similar things like programming.
what is an endogenic system?

an endogenic system is a "system" caused without tramua. though DID is an under-researched disorder, it has been said multiple times by professionals that you cannot have DID without tramua. aswell with the reason that DID is a coping mechanism, and coping mechanisms are only used when something needs to be coped with. endogenic systems are invalidating to many tramuagenic systems. endogenic systems have their own safe places online and in real life, our system is not one of them.
